i am taking a breather from stressful school to post real quick…yep school has owned me in the first week alone.

“Its always been a mystery to me, how two hearts can come together, and love can last forever.” a little corny but that line from newsongs “when god made you” always comes into mind when i shoot. its something that keeps me at this because to me, it really is one of the greatest mysteries (second to that of Gods love of course). sometimes im there shooting the couple wondering just how it is that two worlds can collide like this in a world of a gazillion people and how the couple can be so happy together in a world where nothing ever seems to last….i just find it utterly amazing.

kevin and nathalie have been married a couple years now and are no less an example of that. i think i was nervous at first because nathalie is a designer too and you know how it is, it is like if i had to shoot someone who was a also photographer. but like all my other shoots it was nothing like that as the shoot went swell. i suppose nervousness on my part is natural. in the end its always great getting to know couples and seeing and learning from them how they interact. kevin and nathalie were even from my davis church and ucdavis. small world, yet again!
