Christine + Joey Wedding | The Claremont Resort & Spa Berkeley | Park Blvd Presbyterian Church | Restaurant Peony,‎ Oakland

i love second shooting (i think ive said that before). i guess i just feel useful in the midst of holding the main photog’s light in one hand and in the other wielding my strapless camera trying to get a good shot…i mean, who doesnt wanna feel useful at times. check out erics site for the main shots of christines and joeys wedding! so yep if there was posing in these, its all eric, not me. i just shot whenever i could around him like a stealthy ninja.

i feel second shooting is a time where i have the full freedom to experiment greatly…oh yes, and do the bidding of the main photog too. both are *thumbs up!

gradient produced by different lights mixing…cool! ive never been to the claremont before. cool place…full of old skoo flair and swank.

the few hours that i had to get to know christine, i could easy tell she was a very happy girl all around. totally not hard to catch her smirking or smiling during the day.

after i edited this traditional dress shot i realized that dress shots could be as creative as ring shots…ill keep that in mind for next time…

i live over somewhere yonder

look at that, a medley of subtle colors in the background

  1. i love the view from the claremont… and you captured it well :)

ps: that last shot- the emotion? NICE!

  2. Hey Lynn, thanks for all your help on that day. I always have a good time shooting with you. It is always great having another Scottie along since I didn’t have to tell you too much what I wanted to do. Ha ha…I have a few shots of you and was going to post up about how great it is to be a second shooter, talking to the wedding party while the primary is shooting the famous formal church group shots, or you toasting the bride and groom while Hummmm…I was shooting table shots. =) But really, thank you so much for you hard work and great job that day.

  3. Hi, christines your wedding
