Ok so I didn’t really meet Jasmine Star because I had to leave but I did get a chance to meet David Jay! Meeting David Jay for me is like you basketball fans meeting Jordan or something. DJ is one of the most well known wedding photographers! Anyways I love how his message was yes, all business, but in the end it was to help each other out in order to succeed. Quite a radical message in a world where greed and selfishness abounds.

Jasmine Star was also a very entertaining and informative speaker! I never really considered myself a “boutique” photographer until after her speech. Pretty cool.

Everytime I come back from these business related workshop/conferences, I get so overwhelmed with all the info. I’m probably not as business savvy as others may be but regardless, I press on learning and learning!

Remember when DJ linked me back when on his OSP blog and in an email? And my hit count on this blog shot up like mad…and the fact that I needed someone to explain to me what had happened? I finally got to meet him!

The Freedom bus as I was driving around finding parking!! Dude when will I be able to travel around with big names?? Must be fun!

There were so many people at the event!
