I’ve attended many weddings but I have to say that Joseph and Jeans wedding was of the utmost simple elegance that I’ve seen! The place, the setting, the decorations, all echoed who Joseph and Jean are. It’s always great seeing a wonderful couple who have endured much together finally tie the knot and bring in loved ones to witness it! I loved how during the cocktail and reception hour it felt like one big family was gathered celebrating the moment! The wedding was a fast paced one with almost no down time for me but shooting this wedding was definitely real fun!
This was my first wedding and I have to hand it to Joseph and Jean for being the awesome couple and helping me start the dream. I also have to thank Kevin Lee for helping me second shoot, Jerry Yoon for continually guiding me along, Scott Robert for teaching me the good foundational stuff and everyone else who have made this day possible for me too. It is such a blessing, to say the least! As long as I have shoots to do I will get better and better, that is a promise!
I will be getting a slideshow done later!

The details were amazing. When I first walked into the reception area, the chairs were the first thing to catch my attention. So much charm!

I went to the Marin Headlands for my fellowship retreat so the place was familiar. Beautiful area! Even better now with this awesome couple!

When I find some decent light, it’s pretty exciting. Without Scott‘s help I would have never saw the light.

Looking out the window in anticipation.

The ceremony was short but super sweetness. They read handwritten vows to each other. After hearing about some of what they have endured together and hearing their vows to each other, I could have broken down.

There were some funny speeches given too. It had me cracking up! I had to keep reminding myself that I needed to keep shooting amidst the fun.

The cocktail hour was a true blast! It’s great seeing so many people in one room, talking and having fun. Joseph had a slide show going on too from an LCD suspended from the ceiling. Very nice!

Cupcake cutting! They didn’t smash it into each others’ face but when Joseph got a little bit of cream on his cheek, Jean kissed it off. I thought that was sweet.

Dancing the night away. Jean was really into the music! I loved the music that was played, even got me moving a bit.
